Grand Hotel Taipei

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Located in the mountains of Zhong Shan district, the restaurant located on the base level of the hotel serves traditional dim sum service dishes with a fun modern twist.

The view of the city is immaculate and the history of the hotel with the interior marvels makes it a perfect lunch spot on a nice day in 中山。

The historical hotel was establishment was lead by Ms. Chiang Kai-Shek, and was built for international visitors to see the architectural capabilities of their culture.

The restaurant is typical dim sum service style with nice customer service, and has a plethora of carts moving through giving customers a plethora of options for their Sunday tea.

Our favorite dishes included their Luo Buo Gao(radish cake), Red Bean Panda Dessert buns, Egg Custard Buns and their condensed milk papaya.

A popular starter for their service includes their fried pork roll appetizer.

A must try is their fried pork chop with veggies dish. Its salty but sweet combination of sauce and fried crispy skin makes this dish own of their bests and a must try at this historical establishment.

Overall, taking into account the overall experience, including the historical significance, immaculate view and food quality, we give the Dim Sum of the Grand Hotel a:
