Located in Shibuya Tokyo, Jota Curry’s chain in Shibuya serves up classic Japanese curry via up close cooking and service.
It is a bar service restaurant which serves up fresh traditional Japanese curry. You can order your dish thru the kiosk at the entrance of the diner. You will then be seated and promptly be able to see your dish get made and served to you.
This is our go to curry spot late at night, despite it being a chain, we still find it to be a very reliable spot when looking for a taste of home comfort cooking. I personally order the chicken katsu curry with a runny yolk on top. The Katsu has immaculate Krunch with the perfect texture and works perfectly with the curry.
We also tried their katsu shrimp and sukiyaki curry, which was decent because you can’t go wrong with your choices at this chain. But we would typically prefer their chicken or pork katsu curry, but this is the perfect location to try whatever and still be satisfied.
